The Airbus A300 is a twin-engine, wide-body, two-aisle, short- to medium-range airliner capable of carrying from 220 to 360 passengers. It can be powered by either General Electric CF6 or Pratt & Whitney PW4000 engines. The latest model, Airbus A300-600, has a 266-seat capacity in a two-class configuration and a range of 7,700 kilometers (4,000 nautical miles). The first A300 airliner was delivered in 1974. The improved A300-600 entered service in 1984.
In March 2006 Airbus announced that the company was ceasing A300 and A310 production by 2007 following growing demand from operators for the newest Airbus models such as A321, A330, A340 and A350. The last A300/A310 airplane on order, an A300-600, was expected to be handed over in July 2007.

The Airbus A300 is a twin-engine, wide-body, two-aisle, short- to medium-range airliner capable of carrying from 220 to 360 passengers. The latest model, Airbus A300-600, has a 266-seat capacity in a two-class configuration and a range of 7,700 kilometers (4,000 nautical miles).
The Airbus A300F freighter is a derivative of successful A300-600 short- to medium-range airliner entering service in 1994. It can transport up to 51-ton of cargo (containers and/or pallets) over more than 4,800 kilometers (2,600 nautical miles). EADS EFW converter more than 125 A300 passenger aircraft into freighters.

The Airbus A300-600ST (Super Transporter), also known as Airbus Beluga, is an oversized freighter available for both civil and military requirements. The Beluga entered service in 1996 within the Airbus automated and integrated assembly process. It ferries Airbus' aircraft sections all over Europe between Airbus facilities in France, Germany, UK, Spain and Italy. Currently, the Beluga is performing more than 40 ferry flights a week. Its main cargo deck is greater than C-5 Galaxy, An-124 and C-17. The airplane is powered by two General Electric CF6-80C2 engines.

The Airbus Beluga XL is an oversize air transporter derived from the A330 widebody airliner and intended to carry two A350XWB wings at a time. The new aircraft is one meter wider and six meters longer than the current Beluga air transporter. The Beluga XL will provide Airbus with an additional 30 percent air transport capacity through five aircraft. The Beluga XL program was launched in November 2014 and is expected to enter into service in 2019. The design concept is similar to the current Beluga, with the distinctive lowered cockpit, cargo bay structure, rear-end and tail being amongst the items which are newly developed.

The BelugaXL has entered into service, providing Airbus with 30% extra transport capacity in order to support the on-going production ramp-up of commercial aircraft programmes.
